Stay for the Great Whitsunday Fun Race

The Great Whitsunday Fun Race this year is being held on Saturday, August 16 - the day after Airlie Race Week.

After a week of serious sailing you can join in and have a play with the start at 11am.

Dress your boat up with flags, throw on some costumes and be part of the historical race. You may even win a prize.

Register at the sailing club from 5-7pm on Friday, August 15th and from 9-10am on Saturday 16th.

This race is special because you will be racing for the world's most useless trophy - an empty bottle of rum!

Also, the popular 4-day Whitsunday Reef Festival will run the same week!

Queensland's Season of Sailing

The Whitsunday Sailing Club is proud that Airlie Race Week 2014 is again part of Queensland's Season of Sailing.

The spectacular calendar of sailing events throughout 2014 presents the perfect opportunity to get the crew together for all the action and excitement.
